WURLITZER Electronic Piano Model 200A

Description: The Wurlitzer Electric Piano was very popular in the 60s, 70s and 80s. (Supertramp used a 200A in almost all their recordings) It has made a comeback! Now it is favored by many bands of today because of it's unique sound easy playability and relative mangable portability.

The unit featured here is the model 200A which was made roughly between 1972-73.

Condition: Cosmetics: 8/10 Technical: key action works good, damper regulation works well. All notes play; all keys play well, hold well release well, and dampen well. Allthough unit probably needs to be refelted some time in the future. Reeds need some work: About 5-6 are out of tune. About 3 do not ring as long a specifed. A couple of reeds are not ajusted correcty concerning voicing. Foot pedal works perfect however one of the wooden side pannels is deformed and shows gap at seam.

Features: 5 1/4 Octaves (63 keys); sustain pedal; key action very similar to acoustic piano including dampers; active tone elements: reeds, one for each note, pick up by electrostatic pickup. Built-in amplifier with 2 4"x 6" 16 Ohm speakers; 1/4" Output Jacks for Headphone and amplifier.

Lot: 200A and foot pedal.

Price: $550.00

Krueger String Bass 18 note polyphonic analogue synth.

Description: This unit is based on analogue synthesizer circuitry. It has an analogue tone generator for each of its 18 notes and produces a harmonically rich analogue sound. The harmonics can be low pass filtered by a non resonant tone knob. Each note / tone generator also has its own sustain function that activates when trigger is released - yet generating truly polyphonic sustain! The sustain time length for all notes is controlled by a sustain knob. The third knob on the unit is Volume. Each tone generator is tunable by a potentiometer over a wide range. The tuning pots are accessible from the bottom of the unit from outside the case with a phillips screw driver. The sound of the unit much reminds to early seventies analogue synths, only that this unit is 18 note polyphonic with truly polyphonic sustain! Also a good instrument to create continuos chords, tones or drones. A tone is produced, as long as its trigger is shorted to ground. An interesting effect is also, to tune the generators to nearly identical frequencies to create a really phat and rich tone. Because it's so simplistic, this instrument is a creative tool to use in endless applications. No filter modulation or resonance is available. Features: 18 note polyphonic with adjustable sustain, "Tone control", volume, 18 tuning pots, one for each tone generator, 1/4 audio output jack, DB 25 pin trigger cable with contact rail to mount on the bass pedal of an organ. Fits Hammond A-100 series, B-3 and almost any Organ, as it can be mounted at a point of distance, where contact spacing fits the arrangement of the bass pedal. Easy hook up with minimum soldering skills to bare keyboards with contacts.

How to play it: To trigger a note, short corresponding wire, against supply cable (many applications!)

Lot: Unit, DB 25 cable with contact rail.

Condition: Works great! All pots deoxidized and lubricated, tuned for a regular scale. Cosmetics: 8/10

This unit convinces with its absolutely simplistic and cheesy electronic drum sounds; also they sound good through distortion! It's a good combination together with a SH 101, as it can directly synchronize its sequencer. (Baseline / electronic rhythm combo!) It's simplicity and ease of use invites minimalist music (electronic :-) ): 3 rhythm tracks can be programmed plus one accent track. This over one or 2 (switchable) 16 beat bars. You can program: BD, SD, RS and Accent. Hi-Hat is either off, on 8 step or 16-12 step. There are 6 (12) selectable 16 step based rhythms and 2 (4) 12 step based rhythms. CASIO PT-1 Early eighties mini electronic / digital keys / synth

Description: The Casio PT-1 is a mini key sized keyboard and its rhythm was used by the German group "Trio". This instrument can be used to: generate absolutely cheesy electronic beats, to play fantastic cheesy electronic music, or to record simplistic sequenced songs into its memory. This can be either accomplished in steps, or add additional timing with its one key play buttons (photo: top right). there are four absolutely electronic and cheesy instrument sounds that are unmistakably early eighties casio (electronic, rich with lots of harmonics): piano, fantasy, violin, flute. The instrument is monophonic. Possibly this instrument might be a good candidate for circuit bending.

Lot: PT-1, 6 VDC power supply

Features: 3.5 mm jack audio output (left front), can drive headphones; built in speaker (disconnects when plug inserted into output); Switches and controls: Power off / Record / Play; Volume ( 5 settings); Tone: piano, fantasy, violin, flute; Buttons: Clear; Delete, Tempo: down, up; Rhythm Select, Reset / On; Demo; Memory play; 2 "One Key Play" buttons; 10 keys of the 2 1/2 octave keyboard double as rhythm selectors. Rhythms: March, Waltz, 4 Beat, Swing, Rock 1 (This was used by new wave German rock group "Trio" in " DA, DA, DA"), Rock 2, Bossa Nova, Samba, Rhumba, Beguine; DC 6 V input Jack, AA battery compartment (holds 4)

Condition: Original, works good. Cosmetics: 7/10, second FIS key was replaced with a piece of rubber foam. This key feels and plays just like all other keys. The instrument is fully usable. The three switches top left don't have caps on the slider. I don't know if they are missing, or this unit came that way. Also: the volume switch (Yes, it's a switch with 5 settings) is intermittent on the lowest setting. This works as if there was as sixth setting: pushed hard to the right it mutes all sound, pushed slightly to the right it is on the lowest setting. It does not engage itself, so it does not pose an operational problem.
