Teaberry 40 Channel AM/SSB CB Transceiver
model: Stalker 202

Description: This nice CB transceiver unit has it all: AM and SSB (USB-LSB), 40 Channels, Meters with calibration control, RF Gain, Clarifier. This unit can be either powered by DC 12V or 117V AC. It also can be used as a PA amplifier and provides an extra dedicated jack for a PA speaker. It is perfect for your truck, boat, or home. It appears to be made by UNIDEN and marketed under the "TEABERRY" name. (The PC Board and main IC carries UNIDEN Logo).

Features: FRONT: Speaker, "SWR Cal", SWR Meter, Power/Signal Meter, Channel selector with numeric LED display, Mic In Jack ( Round 4 Pin Connector + shield), Controls: Volume, Squelch, RF-Gain, Clarifier, , Selector: AM, USB, LSB; Switches: CB/PA, NB/OFF, CAL/SWR. LED's for RX and TX
REAR: 2 3.5 mm jacks: PA Speaker, Ext. Speaker; Antenna Jack; DC Power 13.8V DC (-, NC, +); Fuse "3A"; Power Jack: "AC 117 V 100W IN"

Price: $75.00
Condition: Condition is good. Case: shows signs of use but is good; one small dent. The unit seems to work well, except if switched to USB: there seems to be weak reception. Otherwise reception seems to be quite sensitive. I tuned stations from Canada and Wisconsin ( I am in California). Transmission seems to work fine too: I hooked an antenna up and monitored with am oscilloscope: there is a strong output that shows good modulation. If switched to LSB, transmitting and modulation is indicated by the meters, which appears to be quite strong. Though, I did not engage in any communication, as I am not a CBer and don't quite know what to say. There seems to be one modification to the unit: A switch was added and mounted to be accessible at the right side towards the front of the unit. The switch connects to the channel selector circuitry. If turned on the unit seems to receive different channels. The output circuitry of the unit appears to be untouched.

To warrant a long future life and dependable operation to come, I went through all controls and switches and deoxidized, cleaned and lubricated them. I also took the socketed relay out and apart to apply the same procedure.

Dimensions: approx.: 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Lot: Teaberry 202 Stalker CB radio, microphone, AC power chord.
